Manage Subscription

In Novel, you can manage your subscription tiers through the Billing page. Here, you can find links to update or downgrade your plan as needed.

To access the Billing page, navigate to Billing within the Novel platform. It provides a clear overview of your current usage and subscription details.

One of the key metrics tracked on the Billing page is your impressions. A meter displays the number of impressions used out of your monthly quota. This helps you monitor your usage.

If you exceed your allotted impressions, the meter will be full. To upgrade your account, you can click directly from the Billing page, which will redirect you to a Shopify page for confirmation and acceptance.

Please note that all transactional items related to your subscription including invoices, billing history, payment methods and overrages are all managed directly in Shopify – Novel only provides links from the Billing page where you will be redirected to manage within Shopify.

• Why do I have to pay for impressions?

  Novel's pricing model is built around our platform infrastructure costs. As you receive more traffic and therefore impressions, our costs go up as well.

• Does Novel offer annual subscriptions?

  We do not offer annual subscriptions.

• Why am I unable to use Custom Collections on Shopify Store Front despite subscribing to Shopify?

  Novel customers must be on the Growth or Scale tiers in order to use this feature.

• Which plan should I choose?

• How do I update my payment method?

  All payment settings are configured via your Shopify admin account.

• Where can I view my past invoices?

  You can view all your past invoices via your Shopify admin account.

• I installed and paid for Novel and never used the product. Is it possible to request a refund?

  In instances where a user has accidentally subscribed and never used the platform as reflected in the user's account data, Novel may offer a refund at its discretion if an applicable customer requests as such. Contact us directly in this scenario.

• How do I change my subscription plan?

  To change your subscription plan, go to your account settings. From there, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan as needed.

• How do I cancel my subscription?

  To cancel your Shopify subscription, uninstall the Novel app from your Shopify admin account. There is no way for you to cancel your subscription from within Novel's interface, you must do so in Shopify.
